Sýslumaður Dauðans (e. The Death Department) is my first full length play. Translation available.
The play is a far fetched reworking of the myth of Orfeo, a surrealist drama comedy set in the world of startup and paperwork, where Ævar, after having completed three tasks of grief that include a no-talk-talk show, a relationship interrogation and an encounter with a blind mole of memories, tries to negotiate a new long term life-lease for his recently passed away father at The Death Department.
